Fuck VAR
New seasons starts today and my level of interest is less that 10%.

No preseason build up and still no live games is leaving me less than enthused.

Maybe oncw we actually play it will return but hardly seems like a new season
Lots of live games being shown on the telly

Feel the same. First time in all my years of following football when I'm not excited for the first weekend.
Combination of many factors - no pre-season, no fans, City not playing first weekend, not many interesting signings for us, season feels like continuation of last season. No fresh feeling.

Every match-going fan will feel the same way. watching on TV is not the same

Think about it this way:

Liverpool fans missed out on seeing their side win the title, and by the time they get to see their side, the title will be on its way back to Manchester (assuming we sign Koulibaly).

You are Banned!... Reason - "rag".
Price hikes, the 'match day experience' rammed down our throats on the screens, Hugh Ferret, VAR, showsec bullies, VAR, Covid restrictions, apathetic atmosphere, sat amongst fans with zero passion, tourists more interested in taking selfies etc etc.

Yeah, I'm ecstatic! : /

Coronavirus has accelerated the death of football, and none of us are arsed. Says it all about the state of the sport really.
That's not football's fault though is it.

I'd be wel up for this season if I could go to the games. I look forward to the football every time but it would be all the more keenly felt if I could go to the game.

I am hoping that when the game does KO again, everyone will share the same feeling and the atmosphere will be twice as good as it was before. No taking for granted what we had.
