Ladies MCFC Clothing - response from club.

Further to the ladies' complaints that City don't provide much for us in the clothing line, I've had a response from Dave at the club:

I have been and had a look at the Facebook group.

Ouch! We’re getting some stick on there!!



There are loads of reason why we have issues with this category, not least that both of our previous ladies wear suppliers went bust in 2009.

We also encounter high minimum order quantities from suppliers which make it commercially unviable to do large ranges of ladies clothing.

Please also consider that lead times are at least 3 months!



However, we are not ignoring you ladies....

We are currently working on a range of ladies tee’s to go in our 2 for £20 offer that has been phenomenally successful with the guys.

We’ve got a nice tee shirt sourced, which comes in a variety of colours and we are just finalising the designs.

(Any ideas or suggestions for these tee’s would be most welcome!)

We also have a new collection of ladies (and girls) ‘Essentials’ clothing coming into us in July ready for next season.

This collection consists of tee shirt, polo shirt, hoody and jog pant. All in a lovely sky blue and also in grey marl.

Very simple, but classic designs with just the crest and a small Etihad embroidery to give it the ‘authentic look’.

I will try and help where possible, and if it is not possible, I will try and explain why.

Did anyone else read this as: However, we are not ironing for you ladies?! Did a double take then!
