we need a draw (or a win) now to be certain of staying up!!!

if Sussex and Yorks (who are playing each other draw -match fix alert!!!) draw then they both overtake us if we lose + if Kent draw or beat Durham they too overtake us and we get relegated!!!
 
very suspicious goings on at Hove ( where a high scoring draw would ensure both Yorks and Sussex stay up)...........

No. 10 Wainwright whose previous highest score is 5 gets an unbeaten century!!!!!!!

let's see how many the sheepshaggers let Sussex get - if they cruise to 400+ then this match has definitely been fixed?
 
Green wickets can flatten out like at Taunton, would not totally surprise me if it ends up a draw.

Batting in overcast conditions dodging the rain caused Yorks downfall yearterday, much better today though weatherwise.

Make no mistake about it, Kent are favorites for the drop now.
 
182 to win . third day .. so 2 hours or so now and then all of tomorrow. Ours to lose to be honest .. should piss it .. just gotta concentrate and pull it out ..
 
Kent are certainly faves for the drop
They're on day three and have seven second innings wickets remaining and still need another 247 to make Durham bat again.
Even a draw wouldn't see them finish above Lancs
 
100-0 .. they're doing it .. save the best opening partnership in a while for the last match of the season typical ..lol
