Didnt see his debut v The Gooners but reportedly he did well. He is a good player and could do a nice job for them. He should play on Saturday and it will be interesting to see how he does not only v City but how he gets on in general/

I know there might be a lot of you "natives" that will diss him just because of where he is from. I understand that he really has to prove himself in a top notch league and a top notch footballing nation. I hope he does well......but not too well on Saturday.

It's not where he's from that's the problem, it's the fact he's a Grade A twat. Youtube his penalty kicks preparation ritual, you will see.

(back when he had hair)

Good tip: sing about his hairline - he's easily distracted.

I think its wrong bringing Donovan in
It must be restricting the chances of one of their British accademy players.
Fucking golem faced hypocrite.

2 points here,

1) He has joined a shitty cash strapped team fighting against relegation, not exactly Real Madrid

2) He tried his luck at a half decent team in a good league and was totally shit, only ever done it in Mickey Mouse MLS,
Look at all the fantastic teams he scored against in his international career

I have no problem with him as he is our (as in Americans) best thread going forward...we are an underrated team when it comes to attacking...you can ask Spain a few months ago. It's the defense (and the coach) that is not so good.

no offense but he's in CONCACAF, he has no choice of his opposition, it's geography's fault that instead of being able to play France, Germany etc some of the local nations are Honduras, Puerto Rico, etc. Not football hotbeds sure, but some of those Central American nations have by far the most intimidating home fields in the entire world.
