anyone can recomend a laptop for outside use in the sun. just for reading pdf files so the cheaper the better thanks

Unless you need the PC for business or any specialist app then a most people do not require a Windows PC Chromebooks are excellent for what most people do with a PC can easily be restored with a power wash no specialist skills required to maintain

Chromebook screen as much use a chocolate teapot in the sun.
You need a book reader screen like a Kindle.

Going to struggle to find a laptop that will be easy to read in the sun, best off with a Kindle if you dont mind a PDF in black/white or perhaps even an iPad as you can put the brightness on them just good enough to use outdoors.

you can’t do anything about the reflectivity of the glass though.

But you can offset it with a screen capable of very high brightness, the iPad screen is miles ahead of your common laptop.
