Okay, so the Programs installed on my laptop total 1.51 gig of memory, however I'm getting messages saying my C: drive is low on memory and won't let me download anymore files or tunes. I've uninstalled many unused/needed programs, registry cleaned, defragged (twice) and still i'm showing 31.3 gig of the C: Drive's 32G memory is being used.

Any advice as to what/why this is?

Thanks

Do you have folders full of movies or games, those wont go away when you uninstall via Add and Remove programs. Just browse your drive manually and deleted any big files you may not need.

You are either working on a 20 yr old computer or have partitioned your hard drive ( broke it up into smaller pieces). what other drives can you see? when you click on computer do you see any other lettered drives? if not get a bigger hdd or come out of the 90's :)

Have a look in your windows folder for a folder called Installer, you may have to untick `hide protected operating system files... Tools>>folder options>>View, to show hidden folders and files.

How big is that folder?

On older systems can get quite full of junk, and you cant just delete them..you have to use a tool from microsoft to get rid.

^^This^^

There is the C: Drive and also a D: Drive

Is it possible to unpartition them as the D: Drive is empty and showing 100% free space?

Hi,
It is possible to combine both the C drive and D drive.

Here is a good video mate.

Do not delete the C drive. Only the D!
