Laptop Surround Sound

Does anyone know how I'd be able to get true surround sound on a laptop?

I've seen a few splitter adapters that give surround sound effect but I want true surround sound, with the three jack sockets that you can plug the three 3.5mm jacks into. A few USB soundcards are knocking about at around £30 but does anyone know a cheaper way?

Yes buy a laptop with surround sound

That would end up costing way more than £30 though ;-)

You would need a new soundcard, which would be a pain to buy and install for a laptop!

I'll just grab one of the USB soundcards from the net and pay £30. Cheers though fellas
