Laptop , wifi , tv advice...

Am i able to connect a laptop directly to my tv , via hdmi and can you boost your wifi signal?

Our modem is on the top floor so i can't use an ethernet cable and the wifi signal isn't great .

Any advice would be gratefully received.

that will get your broad band from the modem to your lappy. Then you want one of these to transmit wirelessly from your lappy to your TV. I use one.

Looks good , does any of you fellas use this , i want it for streaming football.

I use homeplugs for my PS3 cause the wireless is crappy and they're brilliant. Bit of a pain when they decide to throw a wobbler and you have to re-sync them but they do this rarely so nothing to worry about.

who's your braodband with and do you use their router? I know a good trick if you're on 'sky' that may help with your router to laptop speed.
