Probably doesn't really count (and frankly I don't want to remember it anyway) but the Cup Final v Wigan where we seemed to have about 75% of the ground sticks out

In the last 20 years, as an out and out away day, we probably haven't had more than the 6/7k that frequently attended Bolton/Blackburn/Wigan/Preston etc.
We took a lot to Cardiff against TNS.
It's not our's to boast about, but Frankfurt took about 20/30k to the Nou Camp earlier this year. That's impressive!

As to be Newcastle away in 68 biggest exadus of away fans outside of a Wembley final for city I was 14 they reckon 26,000

Blues everywhere that day. It was packed behind the goal and i'll always remember Whiteside giving us the wanker sign after he scored at our end and the coolcats in the paddock climbing the fences to get at the scum.The United cup game that we lost 1-0 in the 80’s we had all the scoreboard end and all of K stand so that must have been 15000.
