I wouldn't completely rule him being an additional target on top of Pogba.

Our central midfield is nowhere near the likes of Barca and Bayern and just signing Pogba isn't going to completely fix the issues.

I think it's just The Mirror speculating.

Lars Bender is a defensive midfielder whilst Pogba is an all action box to box midfielder, they can't compare.
