    The dead don’t die. Weird one. I enjoyed it but it’s hard to make out what type of film it is. 7/10

    German film (subtitled).

    1984, East Berlin, Stasi surveillance drama. Very good.

    Anthony Hopkins and Ryan Gosling.

    Really enjoyed it and thought they both played their parts very well. A great game of cat and mouse between the two of them.

    Easily 8/10

    Whilst I like the film, the ending is ridiculous. I cannot believe for a second that Hopkins’ character would not have considered that eventuality

    It feels a bit like it is trying to hard to be a cult classic. It was ok but doesn't stick out in any genre really, sorry Bill.
