Thought the first Matt Damon one was superb. Dont even remember the next two so cant have made much of an impression. But yea, they were full of running, chases and headache inducing shaky cams. Not much fun.So i went through the Bourne series again, just finishing the last film. I had forgotten that it's basically just him running all the time, or driving around, and just loads of shaky camera fighting where you have no idea wtf is going on. Def didn't enjoy them as much second time round. The one with Hawkeye in was absolutely fucking pointless, as well.
It is a spectacular film.
First one was brilliant and always watchable when its on. Second was decent, then as you say it descended in to a pile of shite. I think the last one particularly either had a different director or he changed his style as the fight scenes were irritating with so much close camera work and changing angles every second.
