Last Film You Saw

Wrath of man. Guy Ritchie film with Jason statham. Fucking woeful.

Hmmm... Not sure if "woeful" is the right word.

Good in patches, not great in others and besides the first true scene of engagement, certainly certainly no real "wrath" involved.

It truly made me wonder if Ritchie had toned it down.

Amazingly, as an actual film, it's probably one of Ritchie's more coherent pieces he's stitched together! But it does seem that what he gains with one hand, the films suffers as he takes away with the other.

I expect clever dialogue and a witty story with Ritchie movies. The dialog was pure cheese and the story was crap. It was a huge departure form normal guy Ritchie films. I couldn’t believe it was actually his work.

Agreed. I really struggled with the first 10 mins! I was shocked at the scripting! But, afterwards the timing got better, smoother even.

So, that was what I meant by the balance being good, but poor. The filming was definitely better than his last 'tough toff' stuff, but the dialogue was much worse.

Strange juxtaposition in his work.

I really liked this to be honest! Only real negatives were the absolutely abysmal child actors at the beginning and a few shoddy CGI effects, I'd give it a 7.5/10
