I had a shave with a Wilkinson Sword Classic double edged razor.
I had read on another forum that the DE type of razor gave a closer shave than the modern multi blade razors, and the pop in DE blades were alot cheaper to buy.
So I splashed out £4.25 at boots for a Classic with 5 blades included.
Was absolutely kacking it as I scraped away at my 3 day old stubble with the literally "razor sharp"blade, expecting to inflict a deep cut with every stroke.
(I remember putting a deep gash into my chin when I was about 15,and it seemed to keep on bleeding for hours).
I don't think that I could use it in the morning before going to work as you have to be very slow and careful with the blade, and now 24 hours on the stubble is starting to come back and it doesn't seem to have given a closer shave.
Maybe I'll play it safe and stick with my Asda 3 blade cartridge razor in future.
