I know its tragic and a senseless loss of life....but fuck me what a plonker. He must have been absolutely bladdered to be numb enough to strap a mortar tube to his head ffs.

A ban on the sale of fireworks to anyone but the professionals wouldn't hurt my feelings at all, too many halfwits knocking about and they literally sell fireworks on the side of the road around here at this time of year.
 
He's an American. Would probably have shot himself or somebody at some stage anyway. They have no concept of the real danger around things full of an expolsive propellant and anyway he was probably exercising some constitutional right or other..............

This might sound harsh but fuck him. At least he killed himself with his moronic stunt and no one else. One less idiot to pollute an already murky gene puddle.

When did I laugh? I said I couldn't give a fuck about him. He died because of his own stupidity, I'm just happy that he killed himself and no one else.

The darwin awards only point out how stupid some people are. The guy is sentient and should know better. Its just nature adding bleach to the gene pool

I've been drunk many times in my life but I have never once thought you know what I'm gonna strap a powerful explosive to my head. So no this couldn't have been any of us. It's sad for his family and friends but then maybe one of them should have stopped him strapping a fucking firework to his head.
