Electrical cheaper to run but the power cable has to be moved around constantly which takes up a lot of time

petrol powered no worries with power cable and in experience you get through twice as quick

Battery. Get as many as you need to do the job in one fell swoop without recharging. We have two and just change over, if necessary.

I've got a robot one. Flymo r1200 I think. One of the best things I've bought. Set it up start of April then sit back and watch it do all the work until November. Take it indoors for winter and then repeat. Saves shed loads of time
