4 grand! Not sure I’m going to go that high!

Battery ones are great to start with, but as the batteries age, the more you need to charge them, so my back lawn became a 2-3 charge affair. At 1 hour to recharge, it takes a while, especially if you don’t buy a second charger.

Just posted that out of interest to be honest.

I've got an old Mountfield with a briggs and stratton engine ...lasted 20 years so far.

Just service carb (kit) and spark plug now and then.

Got another with a tecumseh engine

I just remembered, when I was a nipper there was a house on Briscoe lane that would put a goat out on the front lawn at the beginning of each summer. My Dad always told me that they did to keep the lawn cut and I would look forward to seeing it every year. I'm now starting to think that they were fattening it up and that it was a different one each summer : (
