I think the government clamped down on them by insisting they were dangerous and could blind people so banned the sale of them?

Anyway they are shit and it just shows how scummy Everton fans are.

I do rememeber them as far back as the 80/90's, but they vanished for a while. If a blue did that near me we would have a falling out. Glad that its not come to City, dont like em, hope they find the toe rag dipper and ban him.

Saw summat on tele at the weekend, their having major problems at some airports with these pillocks trying to blind pilots as they land. Madness.

Didnt the Police prosecute some bellend caught shining them at planes landing at MIA recently. His excuse of "I didnt know it could potentially temporarily blind pilots and cause a plane crash" didnt wash and he was detained at one of HM's establishments for a considerable period. COCK!

It's not the eyes, it's cos they're shining it at the aircraft it's picked up by the laser guidance system and stuff, it sets off all kinds of warnings, and because laser shines in a straight line, they can pinpoint the precise location of the source on the ground. And then fire a missile right at that spot. Unfortunately destroying houses in Bramhall might not be a great PR stunt but it'd soon put a stop to it. So they send the coppers instead.
