Le Tour de France 2016

You're talking utter bollocks. How the fuck can what happened be classed as a racing incident? They crashed in to a fucking motorbike FFS!

..that was caused by idiotic fans.

Never a racing incident. Common sense prevailed.

On the race itself, it's great to see the wind playing such a prominent role. It has helped to illuminate the stages.

Its all bollocks its a racing incident that happens. Can you imagine all those other teams who gained they should put in a appeal that the result is getting amended. So now if there is any crash all the results should be amended. Its all bollocks. IF Froome wasnt involved or the yellow nothing like this would of happen to the times being amended. IF it was the guys in the breakaway it would of went down as a racing incident. The power of team sky will be enough to get the yellow jersey by Paris but to now amend the result the tour is going to be less competitive i can see this running out for a few hours.

I think we all agreed

you`re talking bollocks

I'd like to know what happened to Froome's bike. Couldn't believe he was running up the hill! Anyway, it's pretty obvious that they'll change that result.

Oh, and Quintana is shite. I reckon I could challenge the fucker up a hill.
Motorbike ran into the back of his bike and broke the frame.

Fucking hell. It was good live TV though. Need to watch the highlights. They battered Quintana, and I've been really disappointed in that fella, he just doesn't appear to have any fight in him, at least Froome is putting in the effort.

Bit harsh mate, he's doing alright but is just being bettered by Froome, who is probably the best GT rider in the world at the moment, there is no real disgrace not being able to keep up with him. Quintana has been strong in the Alps the last 2 TdF he has ridden, stronger than Froome on the last climbs, so we shall see if it remains with Froome dominating, but being behind with 2 TTs to come isnt where NQ wants to be at all.

I just see him as not giving it everything. The stage when Froome went downhill straight after getting over the top was a perfect example, Quintana didn't have the balls to go. I'm just disappointed in him.

Froomey's just amazing isn't he.

Was told by two people at work today that they "couldn't warm to him". I have no idea why, seems to be the British way to despise one of our own who's exceptionally good at something like Murray and Froome.

Prior to the Vuelta in 2011 Froome hadn't finished near the top 20 in any Grand Tours, and all of a sudden he's the best GC rider and have been for five years, he's stronger uphill than Quintana and Contador who are specialists and equal to Martin, Cancellara in the TT. Unbelievable what a new team means. It reminds me of a certain someone..

That's an oft heard riff, and none of us can entirely say what the truth is. All I would say, is that he is not streets ahead of the field in the way that Armstrong was. In recent memory he has gained an advantage on a key stage, eg first mountain stage, and then spent the rest of the time nursing/managing that lead, in fact losing time to Quintana towards the end last time. Not saying youre wrong, just that IMHO the playing field is a lot lot more level than it was.
