I actually think Millar's commentary is excellent, gives really good insight. However, I did like Liggett's commentary as well.Will miss Phil liggett and Paul sherwin doing the itv commentary. Not sure David millar can explain in differences in rock formations along the route like paul can.
Thinking it will be Nibali in yellow. Although seeing as the Welsh are doing so well at the moment think Thomas might surprise some if froome is struggling

I watched this years Tour Of Britain as they came up Long Hill in Buxton, they were chatting amongst themselves! I'm normally gasping for air.It is a bit boring but these are the hard men of sport. They have horrendous crashes and just get up and carry on. I saw them in the Milk Race above Glossop once and they were going faster down hill than i would in my car.
And then they repeat the dose the next day and the day after.
No puns intended.
Can't wait for this years Tour De France.

Good work on starting the thread fella. I love the tour.
As has been stated one of the cleanest sports there is these days. Folks will quite happily watch the juiced up Olympics athletics in a few weeks but sit and sneer at cycling.

I can't see past frome for the GC. Team sky are a machine and baring any crashes they will just keep in in the pack until the mountains and he will just blow the rest away on a couple of calculated stage wins.
As for doping, cycling invented and perfected doping while the uci looked the other way, they deserve the legacy in a way but true fans will appreciate the sport regardless. You could pump me with every drug under the sun and I couldn't ride with these guys for an hour let alone 4 or so hours a day for weeks on end!
