I was very pleased for him when I saw how he was celebrating after the third goal—you could tell he felt more than a modicum of vindication.

Given the abuse he receives (and still suffers through) from Spurs supporters when he left to attain his goal of testing himself (and hopefully succeeding) at the highest level, and the immense amount of work he has put in to training and on-pitch performances alike, he deserves all of the joy accrued and accolades received.

In one clip you have the total divide between the old and the new. The modern day football fan dressed up like the club shop and talking claptrap .more interested in giving it "Don't tell me what to do" than addressing the points.
