League Cup Final - Post Match Thread

Got to say they organisers have that Wembley Park exit nailed after the game. Thousands of people on tubes within what seems like no time at all. Manchester council could follow this lead.

Agree.waited only 5mins,1st tube.got connection tube straight away, then 10mins wait for my train.Fking Spot on as our Posh Lasses would say...

stats say Arse had 2 shots on target and 3 off. I can remember Aubemyang's from a few yards out, but what was the other one?

Ramsey free kick straight at Bravo.

Strictly speaking they actually had 3 on target, the Aubameyang chance was 2 on target.

ah the free kick cheers, i thought Walker nudged one of them but then that's probably my memory.

I hope that Pep stops playing Kev in a forward position like he did in the first half. It didn’t work like it didn’t work last season. We only really started to look like our usual selves when Dino came off and Kev dropped back.

Sorry you're right, the one Bravo saved with his foot came off Walker, about time Bravo got a bit of luck.

Watched the whole game back last night. Was one of our easiest games of the season. If we'd really gone for it we could have absolutely mullered them, Arsenal were absolutely terrible! But i think we took our time, didn't throw all our cards on the table (much like our performance at Old Trafford), we knew there were bigger things to come.

There is a lot more to come from this team. When we're really going for it we're going to give a top 6 side a 6/7 goal hammering one day.

Not seen anything about this but was he not offside also, so had he scored VAR may have ruled it out, will look again later, only watched from 16th minute onwards so far.

He was just offside so it would have likely been disallowed by VAR.

Then again, we are City, so the panel may have also decided to award Arsenal two goals for their “excellent effort in the face of adversity”.
