League Cup Final - Post Match Thread

yes he floored Matty Smith and then kicked off in tunnel, just another day at the office for this prick.

I started detesting the twat after he claimed that he showed City supporters the finger because they’d been calling his kid.

Lying little shithouse!

KW always said he came here to win things. The beaming smile on Sunday and his humble interview shows he knows he made the right decision. He will want to keep winning now.
Beautiful start to a long career with us hopefully.

What a scrote! 2nd yellow my arse , he should have got a card for diving when he claims Ferdy fouled him. Both goals were accepted by the match officials and VAR which means he is disagreeing with and saying 2 qualified refs and a lino were wrong. Don't remember him saying anything about bad decisions in the FA semi last year.

Little shit should’ve had 3 bookings for the 3 tirades he gave pawson

I was very pleased for him when I saw how he was celebrating after the third goal—you could tell he felt more than a modicum of vindication.

Given the abuse he receives (and still suffers through) from Spurs supporters when he left to attain his goal of testing himself (and hopefully succeeding) at the highest level, and the immense amount of work he has put in to training and on-pitch performances alike, he deserves all of the joy accrued and accolades received.

Hahahahaha he was brilliant £100,000 a week players and they’re fucking useless not fucking good enough,we’ve had ten years of this shit just fucking go it’s not good enough...

In one clip you have the total divide between the old and the new. The modern day football fan dressed up like the club shop and talking claptrap .more interested in giving it "Don't tell me what to do" than addressing the points. Then we have the old guy speaking from the heart and nailing it. Lack of fight, passion and cohesion.

Arsenal and Wenger are in this mess due to complacency. Obviously that isn't the only issue but it is the main one. They saw City as the grubby little upstarts who would soon be put in our place. They were mighty Arsenal with all their history .pomp and arrogance. Who the hell were we to match them? When we started to ruffle their feathers they whined to all and sundry. The media, uefa, the fa, "Stop these oinks upsetting us! It's not fair, help us!!"

So in came FFP which was anything but fair and it helped for a while but not for long. As one of the biggest hypocritical self righteous bunch of tossers out there their pain is wonderful to witness.

The more I watch that goal the angrier I get at Mustafi. What an absolute disgrace of a failure that was. No sympath, if i was wenger I’d drop him.

Although I’m very happy he did what he did because it set us on our way, but Jesus Christ, could you imagine if stones did that?

Delighted with the win,was hoping Silva would finally score at Wembley,Kompany was back to his best and led the team superbly.Have to admit I thought playing Bravo was wrong,he played very well and that double save and assist were very important. We missed Sterling however
Gundogan got into the game more in second half,Wilshere is all that’s wrong with English footballers, get to a certain level then don’t improve.
Great team spirit,am loving this run in of big games and hopefully more European nights as we get to the business end of the season, remember feeling jealous of the Rags when they used to be in this position,no more...

Come on let's stop cristisising wilshere :)

I think gundog stepped up once fern left the pitch. Was interesting that....

Yes, I was worried when Ferna had to go off but we were actually more dominant after and scored twice. I can't argue that our greater dominance was a direct result though!

She could be a City coorespondent star in the making. ;-)

She could be mate, but i think it would be late tv gig(Fk it)etc...haha

True, though, that could have just been down to her obligation as a participant in the fan view coverage. She may have slipped out at 0-3 with the majority of the Arsenal supporters otherwise.

This was for 90min’s fan view segment so the filming was a necessary exercise.

But I do agree it is odd seeing just random supporters filming themselves to send to their mates or upload to YouTube for their customary 17 viewings from the entire population of the internet-accessing earth.

That reminds me, I need to upload my goal reactions from the pub videos...
