There's inflation for you.Wycombe's only tactic seems to be to put crosses in for Vokes. The problem with that is their wingers are awful and Vokes has a head like a 50p piece!
It was "a head like a threepenny bit" when I was a lad.

Congrats to @Stockport mackem never in doubt m8, you started on the front foot scored early and to be honest could have been over by HT.
Wycombe came into it in the 2nd half and their chance was the Vokes shot & save from Patterson, but I don't think they'd have any complaints if it was 3-0.
Be interesting to see if you get any of the loans back for next season, as you've gone up a division the parent club will want them to play at a higher level.
The only thing left to do is for you to pack your things and leave this thread, the championship one is for you now!! :)

Remember well the days after Gillingham, was buzzing, it was great, then thinking can we manage in the Championship. Our first win was 6-0 against Sheff Utd, of course we went up, then went down, then went up. and now we have a billion in the bank!

Congrats to Sunderland, for many reasons over the years, a club I've always liked due to the people who supported them that I have known.
