The twattersphere is split over dixon saying haiiya when reviewing Sons challenge and then saying karate kick.

Some calling him racist others finding it amusing.

Personnally find it all ridiculous either way

Ridiculous to call him racist, IMHO.

It would be interesting to know what Son makes of it. I'm not sure if it's racist but it's a bit of a stupid thing to say tbf.

Yeah heard that yesterday, wouldn't label him racist over it but it was definitely silly.

    Oh Manchester, is wonderful....
I will admit I chuckled, but it was tone-deaf to say the least. No doubt it will be blown out of all proportion and if it doesn't cost him his job, he'll have to make a public apology.

Anyone remember Alan "****" Green after saying Sun Jihai's number remarked to it as "that'll be a Chicken Chow Mein then"

It's funny. It's off the cuff and was perfect for the moment.
But Lee Dixon will probably never work in the media again.
I remember Roy Keane saying "if he's a defender I'm a China man" It made me laugh but there was a media storm in a teacup straight after.
