Leeds (H) game 6th May / Coronation Day

Will they need as big of a police presence for this compared to the funeral? I've never seen one so I've no idea but given there's roughly 8 months preparation time compared to about a week, they'll surely have things organised won't they?

There's no room in the schedule and champions league and FA cup stops them from extending the league dates, I imagine that weekends games will just be played on the friday/sunday/Monday.

The number of global visitors is likely to be way higher than for the Queen’s funeral. The date will be known for months in advance rather than less than a fortnight.

Global visitors what do they actually see, they stand on the side waving silly flags for hours then big ears comes along in his carriage waving,no thank you.

Or double up with the Coronation of City winning the Premier League (again), crowns all round
I think we should have the Coronation at The Etihad. Extend the half time break to twenty minutes, fit Charlie and Camilla in complimentary away shirts, and it will have save the taxpayers millions.

The organisational side shouldn't be a problem, I could see the Marathon being more difficult.

The details have not been announced as far as I can see regarding the time or any procession. The only way it will affect the football is if the FA/PL etc chose not to clash, which I can't see more than avoiding the hour.
