Manure will take 16 points from 8 games at best. That means 1 win in 6 will win us the title. No need to flap.
I agree it's an outside chance and Utd have a tough run in but we have some big games coming and the pressure will mount if we beat Dortmund. Need Spurs to do us a favour tomorrow.IF they win their two games which I believe are two tricky away games at Spurs and Leeds
Even if they do win them it's still effectively 9 points with the vastly superior goal difference
The only time ever an 8 point gap with 6 games left has been overturned was by us in 2012 but even then we had a safety buffer of a six pointer v them
I agree its not over until it is mathematically impossible. But the chances of it happening are miniscule
Never take anything for granted! The rags are not losing games at the moment! Couple of more of results like today willl could make it very edgy ! Especially if we progress in the champs league and fa cup and take our eye of the prem! Can you give one example in football history where a team bottles 14/8 points in 6 games, when the other "contender" has to play against the 3rd,6th and 7th team of the league?
Mathematically we haven't won it, but the chances are so slim, that it's more likely Aston Villa gets a UCL spot than we losing the PL.
A weak front line on current form.Weak front line... Sterling and Jesus have been part of our preferred front 3 for the majority of the season. You make it sound like he’s picked the U16s. Pep isn’t prioritising competitions, he’s maximising chances of winning both.
You’ll never convince the negative merchants pal so don’t waste your breath, none of them have any perspective on the situation, logic tells you a team who has won 27 out of 29 matches, who scored the most goals and conceded the fewest is not going to lose 3 out of 6 games, now i know of course anything in life is possible but the probabilty of it happening is ridiculously small add to that the rag vermin have to win all their games you can only come to one conclusion, we’re winning it no matter what the mard arses may think. Can you give one example in football history where a team bottles 14/8 points in 6 games, when the other "contender" has to play against the 3rd,6th and 7th team of the league?

Leicester beat them in the cup mateAnd people forget that the Rags have FA cup &Europa semi finals to negotiate, given how far behind they are in the league these are the best chances of getting any silverware.
You can see the drop off as soon as they drop Pogba and Goofy,
Leicester beat them in the cup mate
Yeah but that’s what some dippers I know were saying about us in 2019, City won’t win 14 games on the bounce, we did and the rest is history. I just hope the footballing gods have forgiven us for today. If you watch the Rags you might agree that they have been playing to mid table standard most of the season. They won’t win all their league games left. Spurs, Liverpool and Leicester are all better teams fighting for top 4. Leeds are bitter rivals and likely to take
This.Say all you like about this player, that player, selection, we had simple chances to go 3 - 0 up. Nothing Pep can do when players can't strike the ball properly in front of goal.
Grim reading isn’t itMy bad, 2 goals in 52 fucking chances :)
Don’t overlook the help they will get courtesy of ‘the hand of VAR’.Would say I'm shocked but I'm not....but how on earth are people worried about the rags
They need to basically win all their remaining games and we need to lose 2 out of the next 6...
You know the most games United have won back to back this season, 4...they ain't winning 8 on the bounce
Also their record against the big teams is pretty pony...ironically the only team they beat is us the rest they usually draw a blank
No way they are picking up full points against Dippers, Spurs and Leicester...can probably add Leeds to that list
Ake's first game back. Probably could only do 60 mins.I understand why Pep wanted to rotate but, given that, some of his changes during the match were odd - keeping Mendy on after HT for one then taking Ake off and sticking Fern at CB after he'd been our best player up to then.
