Hope you've got your Cambridge scarf at the ready for Monday @jimharri
Don't be such a silly punt!I think he attended, so he should have a scarf ;-)
Went to Elland Road numerous times in the 70s. They hated us - the atmosphere was poisonous. And they hated the rags even more than us !!!!Just like them. No real reason for me to dislike them.
Going to those places was a cakewalk compared to Leeds - although I've never been to Boro, Chelsea and Spurs, people tell me they weren't especially bad.As they were to Livrrpool, Everton, Newcastle, Middlesbrough, Chelsea, Spurs etc etc
The shithole that civilization bypassed.Went to Elland Road numerous times in the 70s. They hated us - the atmosphere was poisonous. And they hated the rags even more than us !!!!
Although Elland Road is the most hostile stadium I've ever been to - primarily in the 70s - they had a bloody awesome squad/team - Bremner, Giles, Clarke, the Gray brothers, Hunter, Charlton, Reaney, Lorimer, Jones, Cooper, Madeley and Harvey. All hard bastards.Don't mind Leeds. I have a few good reasons for not disliking them:
Every Leeds fan I have met has been a good laugh
- A work colleague, who I liked a lot, supported Leeds but he recently passed away far too young
- My favourite senior manager where I work is a Leeds fan
- Every single Leeds fan I have met hates United
- I didn't go away matches in the 70s and 80s
I get that, in fact quite a lot of posters on here say the same. However, I've never had a bad experience with them, and the Leeds fans I've met have been good lads.Went to Elland Road numerous times in the 70s. They hated us - the atmosphere was poisonous. And they hated the rags even more than us !!!!
