Not sure how Marsch has them playing, but the new manager syndrome has hopefully worn off. Will be a difficult match but one we should be winning. Having already played Leipzig this year hopefully there's some tactical familiarity that will help inform our approach.
We will not see the the same attacking Leeds of bielsa so they will stack behind the ball and we will have to break down them down .

Last thing kdb needs is a rest he's thriving on all these big games atm last thing we want is for him to lose rhythm
Good rest period to the Leeds game then same gap to the 2nd leg.

will be interesting to see how Pep goes but I think if the performance stats say KDB, Bernardo etc are good to go they’ll play every ‘must win’ game. Start strongest team possible and make changes if the score line allows it.

Strongest team, every game. Obviously City winning the title is the main thing to us, but we can’t allow Liverpool to clean up and we’re the only ones left standing in front of them (Chelsea could do them in the FA Cup). The players have got decent rest times for the next few weeks, 4 days in between games, that’s fine for recovery.

Play our strongest team. No question.

Just a pity Leeds aren't completely safe from relegation.

Absolutely spot on mate

Cancelo returning to the side will make a big difference , two natural full backs ,Dias with another game under his belt , woudl prefer Ake in for Laporte because Ake is the player in form , as for the front six players perm any from a dozen players and we will get the job done.
Leeds cannot play with ten men behind the ball , its not their style if we dont make any mistakes at the back we will score a couple of goals and it will be down to just four games and time running out for the team with all the greatest players in the world that has just achieved one title in seven years under Clubshopklopp

We are running out of games any slip up by either team would be fatal, theres not enough games left to turn it round

Kev looks shattered at the end of every game and that is because he gives everything in every game. He seems to recover very quickly and performs better when he is playing twice a week. He will want to play in all the remaining games now. A born winner and world class player.

A like for the praises but he should not be playing all remaining games

I assume a Liverpool win against Newcastle but it's by no means the gimme it would have been 3 months ago. After tonight, against Villareal, they are getting to their business end where the games don't appear to be impossible, but, they are a bit harder than ours, and, their schedule is getting very tight. An early Saturday start after a late Wednesday finish isn't ideal. If we get the 3 points on Saturday - assuming that they get their 3 - the pressure is firmly on them, and building, as they start to run out of games.

Pep will utilise the squad but go as strong as he can on Saturday, and every other game from here onwards. Leeds were running around like headless chickens against Palace the other night. There wasn't much skill on display and, even though they've got a few points since Bielsa left, they're in 15th spot for a reason. Phillips is back and strengthens them, but, there's not much else to be concerned about - just our fatigue. 4 full days is better than the 3 days Liverpool have in which to recouperate.

Cancelo Zinchenko Dias Ake are the obvious back 4(rest to Laporte who has played everything). If Walker is fit and we are winning comfortably, I would sub him in so he gets some game time before Madrid.

Rodri, KDB, Gundogan. I would like Rodri to rest but it is impossible, and KDB is at his peak form and he is our best option to get a quick advantage and then rest him.

Jesus, Sterling, Grealish. Jesus has not played as many matches, so he should be fit to play all the remaining ones if necessary, and he's scoring goals, so he needs to keep being a starter.

If you rest your best players and then drop points, why have you done it?

The Scousers will be resting nobody.
It’s incredible, apart from switching Matip and Konate, the other 3 in the defence play every minute of every game without ever getting injured or suspended! It’s like they’re some sort of bionic saints…
