Like most City fans in the 70s I hated Leeds but have mellowed somewhat. I think Bielsa is brilliant and really hope he does well. I also think we should give their fanbase a break. They used to have a very racist and thuggish following but they have mostly got rid of the morons. Their modern day away following is superb. They were great in the FA Cup at the Etihad, amongst the best I have seen (Sheffield Wednesday were also excellent)
They also share a mutual hatred of the Rags which is another plus point. Like us, their fans have stuck with them through thick and a lot of thin. I wish them well next season, as long as we get six points off them of course.

Having had the misfortune to see their morons brushing old people and kids aside at Victoria a couple of times in recent seasons, I would be happy if we never crossed paths again. We can also look forward to hearing renewed tales of their rivalry with the rags being more important than ours and how it is a bigger match. The sooner they are relegated, the better.

Was that the 92 game with Reidy in charge for the first time?. Remember Leeds fans getting kicked out of the North stand iirc.
We lost Reid's first match in charge, after he took Mark Ward off penalty-taking duties, and his replacement - I cannot remember who it was - missed.

We later had a second, which Ward duly converted.

That would have been November 1990. Dirty Leeds won the title in the'91/92 season.

Might have been Alan Harper. Almost went over the North Stand. :)
