Rather than using Limewire or filesharing sites, has anyone else been using www.Legalsounds.com. You need to make payments on your credit/debit cards, but then tracks are only $0.09, so thats about 5p a track, compared with 79p itunes.

There is a massive choice of albums, although you do need to trawl through a lot of european death metal etc. I have probably spent about £70, but have bought hundreds of tracks, full albums etc. They do have the UK top 50 too, so a new release will cost you about a pound.

Worth trying. Any other view...?

if ur gona pay that you might as well torrent it for free. the bands or artists whatever you want to call them won't be getting anything from this site.
id say its just about legal but pointless all the same

its a russain download site oh dear, the artist wont see the money so you might as well rip it off lime or torrents

If you are worried about legality but want loads of music, join Napster. It's less than a tenner a month for unlimited downloads. The apparent downside is DRM - you can only play them on your pc and while you've got your subscription - but there is plenty of software that can get round that.
