Leicester City (H) - Post-Match Thread

“The midfield and forward line were sensational for the 1st half”

This is exactly what I wrote. That’s me using the word sensational for the collective, including Sterling…you know that guy that I apparently never have anything good to say about. I then wrote about the likes of Bernie and KDB just switching off for the 2nd half but you only see me mention Sterling, because you only see what you want to see.
"The midfield and forward line were sensational for the 1st half and an utter embarrassment for the 2nd. Fern, Gundo, KDB, Bernie, Sterling and Mahrez just decided to stop playing. I don’t care how good we are, we will struggle against anyone if half of the team just decide that they can’t be arsed for 45 mins. Not overly impressed that Pep just sat there and watched it happen either"

As i said , raz kept playing or he wouldnt have been in the right place for the goal

So at 4-0 my mate wanted to call the title race over, & parade the PL trophy. I told him there were no shit teams in the PL, only good, better & the best. Today was a lesson learned about complacency. That will be our downfall if we're not careful.

All in all, 6 scored, 6 points ahead of the Dippers & 3 to the good with goal difference. I'd have rather had a 3-0, than a 6-3, but we got there in the end, & are breaking records along the way. Onwards & upwards.

Raheem Sterling: "The manager warned us at half-time. Leicester conceded four in the first half, but every time they attacked, they created chances. It's disappointing. We just had to control the game. It was slick football. At 4-0 up you have to kill the game..."

Raheem Sterling: "Leicester have some really good players. They didn't get disheartened and kept going. Credit to them." [via
