Leicester City (H) - Post-Match Thread

It's never dull watching City.

Really enjoyed that, even the part when I was close to having another heart attack!

Fair play to Leicester for not dropping their heads.

Crazy.
Maddison played a great game. I think he was helped to an extent by the personnel he was up against and City switching off but still have to say that Leicester's counter-attacking was excellent.

Leicester though still conceded a huge number of chances and couldn't defend. In part that must be down to injuries but they have been like that all season. They need a new central defender.

Played some outstanding stuff & scored some great goals

2nd half Maddison had a field day infection took the piss, Dias & Laporte were shocking at times & if Pep thought he wouldn't tackle in case he got a red then take him off fucking simple, sometimes I just dont get his substitutes crazy

Liecester had some good chances & in this league it's never over
Wr took the piss then thought we would stroll the 2nd 45

Move on 3 great points & Sterling looking very good
Don't think Pep told Dias to do anything - the player himself was overly cautious in trying to avoid picking up a yellow and therefore being banned and that was a major cause in Leicester's first goal.

I thought Maddison was superb. England really are blessed with some brilliant midfielders at the moment. I think Leicester's problems are all at the back. They should sign Connor Coady or someone like him.

93% pass accuracy better than Cancelo and Bernie 92 passes more 5th highest 28 more than Ferdy in 6th Sorry for being a stat man but my perception of Alex didn't match your's
So what your saying there is a player could have a 90 odd per cent pass success rate and be in the top 5 of the team but can be forgiven if he fucks up for a couple of goals??

Stats "can" be misleading at times. Also can be said for forwards. They could have 5 shots on target and create a couple of chances for others but if they miss a 4 yard tap in at 0-0 does the stats excuse them?

Alex was OK yesterday. He could have cost us the game with that pass to Gundo which was never on and he lost Albrighton for the header which he should of scored from. Not bashing him, just saying he could have been a bit better, same as some of the other players yesterday.

They miss JFE badly, laugh all you want but the guy is quality.

Leicester's defending of set pieces was comedy gold, WTF were they doing?

We may have to get used to that in 18 months time.

Such an unprofessional second half it was unreal! Fernandinho legs have gone for playing longer than a half and Zinchenko was shocking second half as well. Strange feeling to be frustrated with a 6-3 win! Lol
