What a shower of ****s, they’d have been as well shouting “bbbbbb-but it’s just not fair”

I notice that Chelsea are now seen as an ‘establishment club’ in the minds of these dimwits.

What infuriates me the most is the way statistics are bandied about with no checks or balance.
Does anyone have the stats for the top 6 clubs expenditure (and net transfer values) since Pep came?

We’ve not spent £700m in that time??? Fuck me. Our net spend was practically zero last summer.

Wankers
I love it when they conveniently forget people like his own Sir John Hall and Steve Gibson who also chucked money at it and failed I love it that they believe Liverpool, Arsenal, Man Utd etal are 'orgainic' clubs. The only organic thing coming from some of these clubs is crap spouted on how hard done bay they are with us and others raising the financial bar which they claim not to be able to compete with. Or try to compete and fail. I love it that they forget stock floatations, investment from wealthy families (Moores). Its all just smacks of jealousy and I dont give a organic crap frankly. Someone said on another post. He wouldn't be blubbing if Mike Ashley hadn't bothered to not turn up to meet the Sheiks representatives and he sold Newcastle to him. He would be crowing at how great KDB is or about having the best manager in the world Pep at the club. Let him and his other embittered cronys sulk and whine and hope we get banned from this that and the other. Some obviously well informed dick on the Daily Fail comments stated he cant wait for our two year transfer ban, as if he knows what's going on, like hes on the board of UEFA deciding these things. Let em all clutch at straws I say. I'll just keep enjoying us winning titles to further annoy them.

Leicester are dangerous, especially the way we play with a high line, we simply cannot play as we have done of late just doing enough and seeing the game out, they can score from nothing with their pace upfront and smart players behind them with the ability to play nice through balls.

We will have had 8 days between games, that along with knowing what’s at stake I expect the fans and the players to start this match like we did against no Liverpool and spurs, get at them from the kick off, overwhelm them and put the game beyond doubt early with clinical finishing.

If we play to control the game with no tempo I will be more fearful the longer the game goes on.

I trust Pep will have the players at it though and as long as they are and as dangerous as Leicester can be, we should have more than enough. It would be amazing if Newcastle can help the entire country before this though, I’d love to win it at home and I’d love a week long celebration. Winning it on the last day feels great but having games to spare where you can just celebrate being champions is special.

Assuming neither Fernandinho or kdb are fit for this

From the Leicester Mercury: " It would be a miracle of biblical proportions for Leicester to even get a draw. Manchester City are a proven European top 8 side and probably the best Premiership side ever. Good gracious if we can't get a point at home to the pitiful Newcastle the chances of anything from this match are less than nil"

However on their forum , they are not on the same line , some think they will get a result , others dont seem that much bothered but I noticed that there are many of them seeing the game as the history repeating itself ( reference to the Tottenham-Chelsea game that won them the title) , they want to return that karma favor and be in the PL history books again, not to mention that there is still hope for them to get 7 and Europa League.

That said it s not about what they want, it will be a hard fought win for Man City Imo , even if this season they were kind of a tough opponent ( a narrow win and a 2-2 draw in the carabao cup) , still I can see you getting 3 points.

Leicester are a good side.
We need to be right at it from the outset or we may have a right struggle.

As for relying on Newcastle.....I fully expect a comfortable Liverpool victory(Hope I'm wrong)Newcastle have nothing to play for.

Two league games, two wins required to retain the title.

Anyone else finding it odd that we're not playing today or tomorrow?

Only the second time since Bournemouth on March 2nd that we've not had a midweek game.

The players are probably loving the break, but I'm not going to enjoy the long build up.

Can't we lock this thread till at least Friday then we don't have 3 more days of flapping? Including me in that!

Does anyone get the feeling there will be a twist in these final two games?. You can't put anything past City can you, even though our consistency has improved ten fold over the years.

No, not particularly. there is a chance of one but I don't 'get the feeling'

No not me.

Should we still be in the champions league then yes, I might have my doubts.
However, with only two games left, a week to prepare for both and Pep's attention to detail I just can't see it.

Leicester will have nothing to play for either.

Come on, Liverpool have got the hardest run-in.
Newcastle are just as likely to want to win their game against Liverpool as Leicester us.

Don't get drawn into the media bullshit.

This nothing to play for is bullshit and wishful thinking,as soon as they hit the pitch all footballers want to win, plus they get more money the higher up in the league they finish as well as individual targets

Exactly.
Therefore Liverpool will have no advantage over us playing Newcastle.
However, if you listen to the broadcasting media they'd have you believe that if we don't win our remaining two fixtures the title will automatically go to the dippers.
Me thinks Newcastle and Wolves might have something to say about that.
