Leicester (N) - Community Shield | Post-Match Thread

What happened before the game, missed the pre match, pundits on Itv seem to be alluding to fan trouble?

From Mahrez I expect a full hard start almost on top form given he had a long nice break, no international games, being back early for pre season.

He is someone who has to lead the team and ply about 100 times better in the first 4-5 PL games than today.

also dont just let Bernardo go until last days of the window, we will need him vs Spurs and Norwich maybe Arsenal too on the 28th given Foden, KDB, Sterling needs time to get up to speed and c ome bac from injury.

Kelchi - 'It was a foul, but the referee played on...'

Hmm... That stinks.
Exactly, what is the point of Steffen saving it if it gets called back

Fuckin joke decision that.

Just book Ake or even a Red but not a fucking penalty unless the ref blows straight away.

Fucking cheating and we wouldn't get that double decision, no way.

Considering the team we put out and the fact that it was a strong Leicester team I thought we did okay. We played all the decent football from 30 mins on and made them look very ordinary . The concern though is if we lose Bernardo and Jesus (May be a big if ) we look a bit light if we don’t sign a striker I know he is young and talented but I don’t think Torres is the answer. In too many games he’s anonymous.

Agreed - I really want him to do well but that performance was woeful - did he touch the ball in the first half? Ben Knight looked a lot more lively after he came on. Ferran really is a conundrum
Or maybe he needs a pre season?
