Leicester Pitch

The pitch was no excuse for that lad Bamba being given the freedom of the box from every corner - another lesson for Bob and the lads to absorb.

haha it was deffo a plan, we will bury them on our surface.
Our pitch is totally different - arguably best pitch in England as well as the largest in the country, which will hopefully limit their pressurising of the ball, which they did well at their ground.

Hopefully Silva, Dzeko, Balotelli, Yaya and Kompany will be back - Mancini will be looking for a huge response after being too dozy against them away.

Well as Sven is a very glorified long ball merchant it sorts his team to have a shit pitch

Sorry, but did you see some of the football we played yesterday? It was fantastic some of the best fooball I've seen Leicester play. Yes everyone plays the odd long ball but how you can say Sven is a long ball merchant is a joke, he has bought the passing game with him to Leicester.

Ignore it, Sven played some of our best football in years too. He mixes long ball and passing football, and its good to watch. He set you up well yesterday, you started great, got the goal (poor defending), but we eventually got on top, by half time we were well on top, only for us to start playing defensively second half. Had we carried on the last 25 minutes of the first, it would probably have ended up 4 or 5 - 2, but Mancini decided we needed more defenders, and we ended up hanging on (well not last 5 minutes) with only 2 attacking players on the pitch, and neither of them playing very well.

Hopefully we'll play more attacking at home, we should have too much for you, but well played yesterday, and enjoy the replay that you more than deserved.

It's no excuse guys 'both teams and all that' but we are used to better.

Did anyone see the Crawley match tonight? Their pitch was immaculate at the start. Got a bit boggy towards the end but it was tipping it down! Miles better than Leicester.

Shit pitch or not, we conceded due to a lack of concentration and a mistake by Hart not the pitch. If we had put in the 100% performance we would of won 4-0 having not missed those 2 sitters and reducing the mistakes. We should be comfortable at Eastlands anyway.

Had they employed a local farmer to plough it prior to the game, it was dreadful.

Spoilt the game for me as we just did not have their experience playing on it or the aerial threat to exploit the long ball game needed on it.

Also without Hart's cock-up (always looks worse when the keeper makes one) we would have won despite the disadvantage.

common enough home team advantage thought isn't it.

You could blame Hart, or you could blame NDJ for not putting his foot through it when he had an easy chance.

Needed more defnders? No. NDJ was put on to cover the midfield area that Milner was pulled out of so Milner could cover for Wright-Philips who didn't return after the half. Tactics didn't change at all. Putting a DM on doesn't necessarily mean he went all defense.

To bad Tevez and NDJ couldn't finish.
