There is something wrong in Spurs now. And with Lennon..it's not the first time he misses an important game with something like this.

Some people say that his nerves got the better of him. Idk whats the truth.

But things aren't good in the Spurs camp.

There's something going on with Bale IMO. It looked to me as though he was overused in the first few months of the season, he'd played 31 games by November. Since then he's had injury after injury. His comeback was about a month ago. He made one sub appearance then refused to make a second. In every single match I've seen him holding parts of his body and looking at the touchline. Wales made a point of pointing out that they felt he'd come to them with an ongoing problem. Then there was a full page spread in the Mail of his personal fitness team explaining he had a permanent problem and what treatment he needed... there's just something just not quite right about it all.

Yeah i know. I read the article about his personal fitness too and it seems like Bale is a guy who is prone to injuries.

I dont really understand why...he has a strong and athletic body but there is something.

And yes..i expect Tottenham to lose players like Bale and Modric and maybe Lennon. That Real defeat must have hurt their confidence. And Bale seems keen to move. They are also having bad injury problems.

Can't believe that this is happening to Tottenham.

Why not? What have they done to set the world on fire?

And save me this great attacking bollocks which has been perpetuated by the media...we've scored more goals than they have this season.

I mean...the media and people talk about City and how bad atmosphere they have in the dressing room etc.

But Tottenham have problems keeping their star players happy. And this Lennon thing.

They haven't scored in 380minutes either. Weird for their very "attractive" attacking football :D

It was the media and Radio 5 who were attacking Lennon. All Redknapp did was tell the media that Lennon was left out due to illness.

The problem the player has is the way the media has presented this story. Several media pundits I listened to last night were saying that Crouch and Lennon had let Redknapp down.

There seems to be some unhappy campers at the lane ha ha. I wonder what way vdv took getting the hook at half time? Not very well I imagine. Any body else think that arry's lack of tactical know how and his wheeler dealer man-management skills are starting to lose there appeal with vdv and maybe a few others in the squad

We need an out and out speed merchant now, that SWP is a bit part player and we could do a lot worse than Aaron Lennon.

As for 'Arry, this is not the first time he's made snide comments about his own. The Darren "my wife would have scored that" Bent incident springs to mind.

-- Wed Apr 06, 2011 10:13 pm --

But Lennon says he wasn't injured, so he's calling 'Arry a liar.

How ironic that on most of their forums, they've been waiting for us to implode so they can overtake us. I hope they lose every one of their last 9 games.

Strike while the irons hot,a perfect homegrown replacement.

Is he a Northern lad?
Leeds i think

Thought so,i know he was signed from them but i wasn't sure he was born there - he was.

And still not 24 for a couple more weeks..... he'd be an excellent signing, rather him than Young,if given the choice.

The media have to blame someone and there's no way they would even hint at their best buddy 'Arry being to blame.
The fact that Real Madrid are a better team than Spurs in every position probably wouldn't even occur to them.
