The player’s father Craig Butler, also his agent, took to Instagram after Bayer Leverkusen’s 6-2 loss to Bayern Munich this week, and stated: ‘This is my son, they put him on the bench, they put him on at left back, they don’t pass to him, the opponent double teams him, they kick him down, what does he do? Get up and put the free kick in the back of the net, that’s what. We don’t know what it is to back down.’

SportBild take that as an ‘attack’ on Bayer Leverkusen, which brings them around to mention the interest of Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester United, and suggest an ‘Escape to England’.

It’s explained Butler’s plan to move Bailey to a bigger club is ‘clear’.

He's worse than Seluk!

He is trying to use Bailey to get himself a job as the head of the Jamaican FA and get his other son, Kyle Butler into Jamaica's team despite him not being good enough for a call up.

The way he's doing this is threatening to have Bailey play for another country despite him being ineligible for anywhere else. Despite this, he's phoned up papers in England, Germany and Belgium telling them Bailey can play for those countries and will if the Jamaican FA don't cooperate with his demands.

don't like the sound of his agent/father...that is the sort of thing the club could be put off by...Pep and the hierarchy don't seem to just judge a player on his ability on the pitch they look at the who picture surrounding the player it seems. (Pep constantly refers to the players as nice guys - its clear that the club must compile very detailed dossiers on potential recruits to sound out every aspect of their lives outside the football pitch) - we've seen it before with Seluk - pep wont countenance intefernce from an agent so this could affect a decision to go for the lad

In terms of pure footballing ability he has qualities that pep wants....noticeably he plays a lot from the left (but also looks comfortable centrally)...I keep thinking that maybe a long term plan might be to see if Sane can develop centrally and buying someone like Bailey enables us to do that.??????
 
Kid needs to take control of his life and fuck his prick of a father off asap. If we're interested we should make it clear he is required to change agent before we come in for him. We don't need people like that even remotely associated with our club. I'd love for us to take a stand against these leeches and have a blacklist of agents that we simply refuse to deal with
