Leroy Sané

Not sure why some are scoffing at the idea of Sterling being more valuable than Sane. Sterling’s contribution to our success was much larger than Sane’s during the period they played together.

Sane is the more talented player but his output wasn’t quite on the same level as that potential. He also had games where he didn’t fancy it, whereas Sterling will keep going even on his worse days.

Even at international level Sterling outperforms Sane.

Funny, that you are all talking like this a time when everybody seems to be more and more satisfied with the performances of Sane. He was about the best player for the national team in the last two weeks - and his last matches for Bayern were good, too.

Not just the offensive contribution but the defensive, too.

Regardless of what the naysayers claim and however much they slag him off, Sterling, quite simply will finish his career with City as one of the best signings we’ve made.
It’s a hard fact to swallow for many on here but it’s the truth by whatever metric you use.

That maybe so but is it too much to expect Sterling to pick up his form and start turning in match winning performances? Or are we to accept mediocrity from an elite player just because he had a few good seasons?

No and no.

Don't forget (I am assuming that the report was true) that Sterling said to Sane: "When you beat the full back, no need to look, I'll be there."
Got the odd tap in did Raz!
