Failure to start quickly and I think he’s in a precarious positionArteta hasn't got a safety net unlike when Arsene Wenger was in charge

Have they signed a back 4 and a defensive midfielder? If arsenal get Sane and Zinchenko I’d have them down for second. Serious upgrades to a talented team.

Agreed. Arteta can't say he hasn't been backed.Failure to start quickly and I think he’s in a precarious position
Absolute banter club. They’ll be fighting it out for fifth with the ragsIf arsenal get Sane and Zinchenko I’d have them down for second. Serious upgrades to a talented team.
Great player on his day as exciting as you'll see,but he wanted to leave the club leaving City now is a step down for any player. Not worked out for him to well has it unlucky. Would I have him back nah bridge burn't and we're no longer desperate for players who don't want to be here.Zané must regret the day he listened to his mother and his mates and moved back home and away from the man who made him what he was I have a feeling a few recent leavers will end up with similar regret
But that day though :)A shame his day was about once a month.
Samir Nasri syndrome.
It’s a hard pass from me.
Not really. His role here and eventually at Bayern would have been the same An inconsistent backup with World Class attributes.Zané must regret the day he listened to his mother and his mates and moved back home and away from the man who made him what he was I have a feeling a few recent leavers will end up with similar regret

Not really convinced he's that arsed about achieving his full potential tbh. Doesn't strike me as being that passionate about his football (which is fine, it's up to him how he wants to live his life). So you don’t think he regrets?
He was more than a back-up and yes like most wingers a little inconsistent however I believe under Pep he would have become better and been developed Massive mistake for him and now he will never achieve his potential
I've crossed paths with loads like Sané over the years & their problem is that they're so supremely & naturally gifted, that they believe that talent is all that's required to succeed. Not really convinced he's that arsed about achieving his full potential tbh. Correct. American English refers to sports teams and clubs as singular nouns, here it is the plural. In English sports, we have a long-standing tradition of saying ARE. You may be correct that both are OK, but I believe that technically, "IS" is correct because you are referring to a single entity (e.g. the club/team).
You wouldn't say Zinchenko ARE signing for Arsenal, because he's a person, i.e. a single entity and it shouldn't be any different when referring to a single entity that reflects a collection of people.
Or maybe it's just a US v English thing, as per the following example.

My Family Is or Are: Subject-Verb Agreement
Perhaps you’ve had this experience: you’re talking with a friend about your family, and they ask something general. But when you reply with a quick description, are you referring to one family, or are you talking about several individuals? The need for subject-verb agreement will help determine...strategiesforparents.com
Both “My family is” and “My family are” are correct in British English, while “My family is” is most common in American English. This is because “family” is a collective noun, and American English generally treats collective nouns as singular, while British English treats them as plural.

Whilst I back our use of the English language in most cases, as we invented it, I think the Americans are correct in this case.Correct. American English refers to sports teams and clubs as singular nouns, here it is the plural.
