Leroy Sane - 2016/2017 performances

Is this a good time to remind the congregation that it was only a couple of months ago that there were those suggesting a loan to a league 1 or Championship club was needed.....or even doubting he was good enough.
 
Last season all the pressure was on Sterling to take on teams and create something and they just marked him out of games. With Sane we now have that threat coming from both wings and they are both bringing the best out of each other.
 
Sane's awareness is very impressive for a young player and his finishing and predatory instinct you cannot teach a player , imagine how good this lad will be when he is 23/24 , f*cking frightening

Sterling was predominantly played wide left and was encouraged to check his runs, Stephen Hawkins could of marked him... What he has done is perservere where historically he would let his head drop, massive props to Pep and showing how to manage talent..

As For sane...... in 12 months time, that's 12 months time, I think we'll have the best attacking player in the league, he's an absolute thoroughbred, he's also developing the knack of big goals, in big games, we've missed that!
 
Him and Sterling are bringing the best out of each other, the skill in that first goal was absolutely brilliant.
