Leroy Sane - 2017/18 performances

He’s inconsistent and will continue to have his ups and downs. Wasn’t a good game for him yesterday but he was dynamite against spurs. Has that ability to do something special even if he’s been on his arse for 89minutes of the game.
 
Last night I dreamed of him heading back to Germany and Bayern this upcoming window. We sat at a café, he was sad and told med he was home sick and hadn't settled in Manchester at all, so Pep had given him his blessings and told him he could leave.

Weird dream, I know.

Nah, Leroy doesn't quite do it for me.

What if this really happened, though, if Leroy left?
Shit... it would be my fault.

But if so, I promise I'd make up for it by dreaming of Messi signing for us and the rags being disqualified from professional football for ten years due to a corruption scandal.

Most frustrating player in the team. Turns up for Spurs and rips them apart, runs his bollocks off, does his defensive duties, brilliant performance. Then the last few games he's gone right back to being ineffective. Shit crosses, not running enough, bad decisions, unable to beat his full back and then you have his petulance. Kicking the ball away and sulking when things aren't going his way and picking up stupid bookings.
 
I would have sent him home to Germany for a month.

Last season he barely played in the first half of the season so once he got into the team he had only really played half a season so he was fresh.

This season I think the heavy duty Premier League workload is starting to show as he has already played a lot of games this season and is pretty much experiencing this type of workload for the first time.

In the Bundesliga you only play 34 league games as it’s an 18 team league, plus you get 3-4 weeks of around this time of year.
 
Awful for quite a while now. Needs to be dropped and given a bollocking as he has been really poor for quite a few months.
 
Still a young player who can be brilliant - we have to ride out days like today - same for GJ . The attitude will,come with age
 
He's not in form right now. But being a young kid its going to happen. We can't expect him to be world class every single game. This season overall he's been brilliant.
 
Pep needs to get to grips with Sane as his petulance is becoming a problem imo.

Looks like he is thinking that he is better than his performances indicate at present.

I'm just not seeing this petulance. I mean sometimes he does act out, but he's a kid and that's to be expected. Overall this season he's been amazing. I'd actually be surprised if he wasn't confident in himself,
 
Bar the great performance against Spurs, he's had a pretty terrible month or so. Always the way with young players, but he's visibly frustrated and that doesn't help. Not taking people on enough on the outside at the moment
