Deal agreed with Bayern Munich for Leroy Sane - €60m (including add-ons)

I think it's pretty clear that there's a clash of personalities between the two of them and that Leroy's a bit of a handful when it comes to man management. I get the impression that he struggles significantly more than the rest of the players to follow instructions, and that frustrates Pep quite a lot. The way I interpret it is that if Leroy decides to stay, then that means he'd be willing to learn and grow, and to take on the challenge of developing in the same way that Raheem has - and in that case, Pep and the club would be willing to give him that opportunity. If he decides to go, then it's clear that he's not interested in any of that, and therefore they'll be more than happy to let him go for the right price. His best trait is his potential... if it doesn't look like he's going to reach that potential here regardless of how much Pep and the coaching staff have tried to help him, then Pep will let him go without much of a fuss, imo.
I get a similar feeling but also had the same with Sancho tbh.

If you want something to read into for no reason but maybe a bit of hopeless optimism, Sane's current insta story - "Today I want to share with you something that I hope inspires you to always stay to true to who you are and how you love to play the game"

Context for over-analysing: Kovac got the boot. Mourinho rumored as favorite to takeover. "True to who you are" - staying, showing character rather than taking an escape route.

Probably absolutely nothing in that and just something designed by Nike.

Regardless, I could see this going either way. Who they appoint will definitely make a difference. We have so much to offer.

Yes but people in the know reckon If Pep is offered another year on his contract, Pep could well sign another extension.

So, the club is not interested in offering him an extension to the contract? Not sure that's the case and that puts a shadow over people in the know, imo

No what I was inferring was that if City did offer him an extension he would most probably sign, nowhere did I say that the club wouldn't be interested in offering him a new deal, they are obviously interested.
