People are just seeing what they want and reading what they want into it. They’re taking more notice of journalists than the lad himself, they’re taking more notice of three seconds of play rather than the whole 39 minutes he was on the pitch.

The reality was Aleks was a very good player and a good servant to the club. The reality was Leroy played very well when he came on last night, bar one moment where he thought the ball was going out of play so didn’t chase it, low and behold it actually did go out of play for our throw in anyway.
