Despite having u@d`s striking trio of Wayne "pubehead" Wooney, Danny "local lad" Welbeck and Ashley "diver" Young playing together for 10 games the 3 of them only scored 2 goals. One each for Wooney and Welbeck.

Have to say I thought Lescott was one of Englands finer performers in the Euro's, TBH, Lescott, Terry & Cole were the best of the bunch.

I have some sympathy for Young he may be a diving/cheating pr!ck but I thought his performances were dire because of the more defensive role he was asked to play, and as for Rooney I sometimes wonder about all the hype there's no doubting is is a great club player but has never performed at a World Cup or European Championship.
