We could do with hearing from Lescott really. I know he's put in the request, but it could put more pressure on if he states his desire to leave on camera. Is their a press conf tomorrow before the England game?

could some one please advise me on what may happen with lescott now he has handed in a transfer request, i mean what options does he have now and what more could he possibly do to make this happen i do have some idea but im not 100 per cent sure on how it all works regarding a player requesting a transfer from a club that goes on to reject it.

Yeah it is beginning to remind me a bit of the SWP sale to Chelski. Every time we bid privately they come out on their website and announce that they have rejected the bid with quotes from Moyes about how valuable he is. If they were only interested in holding on then they'd just reply to the club with a polite rejection letter, without all the fanfare from Moyes. Last week Hughes has said twice that City are waiting to see if there's any progress but if there's not they will move on. Then we discover Lescott's transfer request from . . . Everton's website. Time for one final push.

He is clearly superior to both Toure and Lescott defensively. Where Lescott scores is his ability to er.....score. I believe he outscored all other central defenders last season according to SSN. 12 came up on the screen: 7 was the next highest.

People keep going on about his agent being on Talk Sport today saying he wont play for Everton on Saturday, will go ons trike if the move does not go through. Its on the Everton forum not sure if its true.

Part tof the problem is Never, wont, "Even over £30 million" its all so final there is no where to go, no point for negotiation. Impossible to explain away if the deal does happen, just shame and embarrasment for the club, manager and fans.

I honestly believe if Moyes had been reasonable we would have gone as far as £25 million maybe more to get it done quickly and in good spirit. The way its gone I will be surprised if the fee is more than £20 million with maybe a couple of extra million in addons if it ends up happening now.

Hes put in th written request Everton have admitted this and are still saying they wont sell, meanwhile Lescotts with his england team mates Barry, Bridge and co egging him on saying how good it is at city, how he would be mad to turn down 3 times the money.

If there is no movement and a deals not agreed by Friday I fully expect him to speak to the press, I cant see any chance he will play for Everton on Saturday or train with the first team on Friday its gone too far now.

He might get back into their team after the window shuts if Everton hold out and refuse to sell, a huge amount of damage will have been done to their team moral and season by then though. We will just buy Distain, Upson or Hangerland and move on.

This is a personal crusade for Moyes now. His audition for the job in Stretford. He obviously got like this impersonating Fergie's handling of Ronaldo last summer.

Driving home before I was listening to Ian Wright on Talk Sport and he was saying Lescott would be mad not to go to city doubling his wages silverwear on its way weather its this year or next. He was also saying taht he can't see what Everton are trying to do by saying he can't go it will be better for his career and this is what Wolves went through when they let him go to Everton.
Just hope Moyes was listening on his way home and stop being such a div
