Conveniently ''injured'' for the game against his old club.

Is it just me that thinks this is bollocks and that there is a ''gentlemen's agreement'' not to play him as part of the transfer deal.

The reason I mention this is that when a recently transferred player comes up against their old club they always seem to be injured!

no because if he wasnt really injured he would have played today then after the match said he was injured...

Gentleman's agreement? After paying £20+ mill and listening to all the shit from gollum? Yeah fucking right.

Yeah there is no more agreements with them lot anymore! It's a pity as I would have loved to have seen him score against them!

I would think it is only you who thinks such a ...... thing.

There was no gentlemanly conduct shown by Everton during the Lescott deal so I'd be amazed if we had any "gentleman's agreements" with them.

I think your theory is a lot more bollocks than his injury to be honest.
