43 years ago today, rag twat Martin Buchan effectively ended Colin Bell's career during a League Cup tie at Maine Road. The "challenge" wasn't even given as a foul by the referee.
It still annoys me even now.

Ironically, the referee was Jack Taylor that night.

A Wolverhampton butcher. It was alleged he got his meat from Louis Edwards at preferential rates, as he always seemed to give them "kinder" treatment when refereeing them, but this is just hearsay.
He no longer with us, so RIP.
