Let's Talk Pizza

If you're near Failsworth then Corner Slice pizzas are superb. I normally prefer rhin ones but these are huge Detroit ones and the crust is amazing. They change the menu quite often but the quality is always good

Also, the pizzas at Sul Lago (where the City players have their parties) are amazing too and very cheap. Definitely recommend them if you like a thin base! I think I could just eat the base with nothing on it it's that good!

Blimey I've made Failsworth sound like the pizza capital of England! :)
 
Not Manchester I know but the best pizza I ever had was a simple Margherita in Naples, Italy, after the first time City played there.

We hadn't really eaten all day and it was after midnight when we got back to near our hotel, so we went looking for food.
Found a little pizzeria open down a back street so went in.

Had a large bottle of Nastro Azzurro while waiting, and another to go when we got the pizza.
Was a thin base, amazing, fresh mozzarella, and had small fresh tomatoes under the cheese, it was amazing, nothing came close before, and nothing has since. Not really surprising, seeing as Naples is the home of Margherita pizzas.

Total cost for the pizza and two large beers was €11.
 
I’ll never eat this again but here’s a Jamaican pizza from Peppermint in Cardiff. It was salami, jerk chicken, onions, mushrooms and peppers. They’ve a branch in Swansea too but I’m unsure of any anywhere else.

I do also enjoy a proper New York pie style pizza though with ridiculous amounts of cheese and pepperoni, never replicated a good one at home though.

We eat too much pizza in this house, should have never bought an Ooni!

Might invest in an Ooni. Did u go gas, wood or pellet?
