Level 2 Next Season

With all the moaning about the Family stand and moving away fans. I thought about what will happen next season when level is is made corporate?

Are there any clues as to how much will be made corporate? will it just be the Colin Bell or will it be all the way around?

Who will move and where too?
Will end up with more empty seats, me and the old fellow will
have to give up our seats, utter fucking joke

I'm on level 2 myself, it's slowly getting to the point where I'll have to pack in going. Money doesn't grow on tree's here in Manchester.

I understand the need to increase revenue, but bloody hell we've always been a working mans club. Increasing the price too much will have the affect of removing the atmosphere, I don't think the averge member of the prawn butty brigade sings, shouts or other wise. The place will turn into another swamp full of day trippers and the like.

I’m in 209 Level 2 East Stand

Last summer you had the option of moving if you wanted to.

There upgrading the facilities, concourse, seats etc., and calling it the Premier Experience (from memory). Colin Bell stand first, which I assumed they started last summer but could be wrong.

They said the cost increase would be £200 spread over two seasons, so me and my mates decided to stay and pay the extra as the view and access is very good.

Just hope they can keep the level 3 riff-raff out when it’s finished. ; -)

^^^^ this is what's happening.
My season card was for 205 East stand almost as close to the corporates as you could get. There was a huge fuss over what was going to happen, rumours of turning the entire L2 to corporate.
A letter was sent out by the club which explained what they were doing (as explained above)
Me and my mate decided to move whist we had a decent choice of other locations, before the potential mass exodus from L2 when the price increases happen.
TBH, I reckon, following that survey from the club last week, that the cost of L2 will rise substantially more than £200 over two seasons.
Another reason I left that location is because if it does start to attract "day trippers" it will lose the whole going to the match experience

i'm guessing the letter i got is the same as everyone else, and the club made it pretty clear that they aren't looking to change it into a corporate section. i'm in 201, (east stand), and it looks like my ticket will be going up to around 650 if i remember correctly. bit pricey, but hopefully the improvements will be worth it (start serving guiness, please!!!!!)

I'm in 201 as well. I won't be moving but I can't see what they can change there that will justify a huge hike in price. I don't want fancy heated seats etc, all I want is better service at the bar/food bars and I don't see why I should pay extra for that.

i sit in 202 in east stand and was asking the steward about these plans at the match on sunday and his answer was that it is his understanding that the heated seats will only be upto blocks 204 so hopefully my price won't be going up too much..

to be fair, agree with what yer saying, but not much we can do by the looks of things. our biggest problem is there's quite a few of us sat together, and we ain't going to get such good seats all together in a section where the view is as good. bit gutted, but i'll find the money somehow

I was in 201...and relocated to 3rd tier this season when we got the letter telling us it was going up at the start of next season. It will start at just over £900 near half way going down to £750 towards the ends, and it is the whole East and Colin Bell. Leter said something about enhanced match day experience, parking, programme and pie included in price ofyour season ticket.

I wasn't happy at first but now prefer it in the gods, great few* and not got any moaning bar stewards around me. Bit annoying getting moved for some cup games when they close the top tier tho. Decieded to move this year to get better choice of new seat.
